So there`s a big pool party coming up and you want to lose twenty pounds in three weeks. For one thing, it is simply impossible to do such a thing, and secondly, you should have decided to lose that twenty pounds six months ago. I am going to explain the importance of taking the weight loss process slowly so you don`t end up gaining all of the weight back after you lose it all.



First, I am going to discuss the motives behind wanting to lose weight quickly. You could be trying to increase your feelings of self worth, to look good in a tight dress, or maybe to just be able to wear shorts in the summer. Do you want to be able to run with your grandchildren? Maybe it`s just to be able to go swimming without feeling self-conscious, or to just be even seen at the swimming pool in the first place. It is okay to be motivated, but you don`t want to burn yourself out trying too hard in the beginning and giving up when you don`t see the results fast enough.

Now if you are new to the whole dieting thing, you want to familiarize yourself with some of the basic terms involved in a fat burning diet. The most important term you need to know is the role of the metabolism. The metabolism includes all of the chemical changes that nutrients go through from the time they are absorbed until they become a part of the body. You simply only want to burn fewer calories than what you consume, but not too few. Too few will slow down your metabolism, making every calorie you eat above maintenance level turns into ugly fat. You also need to become familiar with the terms proteins, fats, and carbohydrates, which are the other three important terms when it comes to a good fat loss diet. When you`re first starting a fat loss diet, controlling your appetite is very tough. It is not easy to switch to eating a healthy diet when your previous diet consisted of pizzas, cookies, etc. To counter the effects of this "junk food" appetite, the use of supplements is preferred over any kind of drugs. Honestly, do you really care about how Joe Schmoe overcame obesity by eating dandelions and sunflower seeds, then telling a fertilizer company that he lost weight eating dandelions containing their ingredients. You know what I mean by “Fertilizer Company” I hope! The point here is that half of the information that you will read or watch on channels is complete “Bullshit” and you need to be wise enough to find what you need to do. You do have the power to change your life, it`s up to you to do it without damaging YOUR health!
